ABOUT ME!

I grew up in New York state and graduated from OT school at the University at Buffalo in 1992. I began my career in a hospital pediatric outpatient clinic where my first patient was an adorable and curious 4 year old. He was in constant motion and had very specific ideas about how he wanted to play.  He became my first autistic teacher.  I have been honored to learn from children and their families ever since.

I have worked in a variety of settings, with the majority of my career spent in private sensory integration clinics. Working with children in hospitals, schools and clinics has provided me with the knowledge and skills to support children and parents in many different environments.

I am the mother to three sons, now teens and young adults. My personal mothering experiences have informed my practice and gifted me a lens of compassion and understanding to all caregivers.
